It is an exciting time for TEDI-London as we move full-steam ahead in getting ready to deliver our BEng and MEng programmes in Global Design Engineering and welcome our first cohort of students in 2021.
We are looking to expand our small, innovative team and are currently recruiting for a number of academic roles: Academic Director, Director of Project Based Learning, and a range of Senior Teaching/Teaching Fellows.
At TEDI-London we are delivering engineering higher education differently, with traditional lectures replaced by project-based work, supported by our cutting-edge Virtual Learning Environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator with significant leadership experience in an engineering higher education environment – perhaps as an Associate Dean Teaching and Learning, Head of School or equivalent – who relishes the prospect of leading our academic team in delivering an innovative, relevant and inclusive curriculum.
This is a genuine opportunity to shape the delivery of a new innovative and inclusive academic programme. You will therefore relish and thrive in the fast-paced vibrant environment where a high level of ambiguity and flexibility in both mind-set and approach is a prerequisite. The curriculum you develop and deliver will attract and empower a diverse cohort of capable students, providing them the skills to solve complex contemporary challenges through a flexible, project-based learning programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer – with significant experience at the academia/industry interface – who relishes the prospect of shaping and delivering our project-based curriculum through the integration of real-life, industry-sourced projects.
Traditional lectures will be replaced by this project work, supported by our bespoke Virtual Learning Environment – our Learning Tree. Most of our learning outcomes will be achieved through these real-life projects, co-designed and co-delivered with industry. You will therefore be instrumental in building excellent relationships directly with industry – working closely with our Head of External Engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity for passionate educators working at senior lecturer/ lecturer level, from a range of engineering disciplines. You will relish the opportunity to join our academic team in delivering an innovative, relevant and inclusive curriculum.
