TEDI-London joins with Colèchi to inspire the next generation of sustainable innovators

TEDI-London is teaming up with Colèchi, a pioneering advocate for clean, ethical fashion for the Summer Thinking Ahead programme. This collab will offer students aged 16 and above a unique opportunity to address some of the most pressing challenges facing the global fashion industry today.
Participants will explore Colèchi’s Clean Fashion Model, which redefines the traditional fashion supply chain by focusing on four critical areas:
- Sourcing
- Manufacturing
- Media
- Afterlife
Participants will be challenged to research, innovate, and design products or services that tackle the significant issue of textile waste, contributing towards the broader goals of the Textile 2030 roadmap for sustainable textiles in the UK.
The programme encourages participants to:
- Critically examine current practices within the fashion industry
- Develop sustainable and innovative solutions through design engineering principles
- Gain valuable skills in research, problem-solving, and creative thinking
- Engage with experts in both the engineering and fashion industries
