Our programme adopts a unique approach to engineering education, in that students will work on real-life projects from day one, supported by a bespoke virtual learning environment.
How you will learn
Students will work both individually and in groups to research, design and create conceptual designs, or artefacts and prototypes. You will be guided through the project and problem-based learning approach through tutorials that provide the opportunity to discuss challenges associated with the projects and share your ideas and learn from each other.

This exciting general engineering degree programme bridges many disciplines of engineering, including mechanical, electrical and electronic, civil, environmental, and product design. TEDI-London's aim is to develop professional engineers who are equipped with skills for the future job market. The core skills gained while training and working in engineering set engineers up for an incredible horizon of career experiences and opportunities.
Projects will be developed around key themes such as smart cities, sustainability, user-centred design and manufacturing. These projects will be real-life industry challenges and will be co-designed and co-delivered with employers. This interdisciplinary programme is ideal if you're interested in all aspects of engineering and don't want to decide on a specific discipline. The skills and knowledge you will gain are equally applicable to systems, products and processes across engineering.

TEDI-London seeks to attract students with the appropriate Attitude, Aptitude and Ability. Therefore, we do not make offers based solely on high-school leaving qualifications.
The following criteria is intended as a guide to help you gauge if TEDI-London is for you:
- A minimum of level 6 at GCSE Maths (Grade B for students sitting GCSEs before 2018)
- A minimum of level 5 at GCSE English
- If studying A Levels, IB, BTEC (or any post 16 education) on track for 120 UCAS points or equivalent
- To forgo our numeracy test (see below) A Level (or equivalent) Maths Grade C or higher
We look beyond academic qualifications
Unlike lots of traditional engineering degree programmes. We have designed an admissions process that focusses on an individuals background and experience rather than their grades
