International entry requirements

TEDI-London accepts a range of international qualifications for direct entry to our BEng Global Design Engineering. Our admissions process allows students to demonstrate their attitude, aptitude and ability through a small project and interview – this means we do not have any specific subject requirements such as needing to study maths at high school.

Qualifications currently accepted for direct entry onto our programme are listed below by country. If a particular qualification or foundation programme is not listed, please contact admissions@tedi-london.ac.uk and request an assessment of that qualification.

Foundation entry

Where we do not accept a qualification for direct entry to our programme, we have partnered with UNSW Sydney to give students access to the UNSW Transition Program Online. This online foundation course will help students to develop the practical skills and confidence needed to thrive at university in just four months, all from the comfort of their home. For advice and guidance on the Transition Program Online, please email Matthew Wilks, Head of International Student Recruitment.

TEDI-London also accepts applications from those who have studied a UK foundation programme that is at least equivalent to a UK RQF Level 3 qualification. Please contact admissions@tedi-london.ac.uk with details of your qualification to find out if it is suitable.

English language proficiency

A minimum level of English language proficiency is required to study at TEDI-London. Students who do not have at least a level 5 in GCSE English are required to study IELTS. A minimum score of 6.5 overall with no less than a 6 in any section is needed.
