Professor Laurie Rowe is the founder and director of RED Medtech – delivering technical, regulatory and quality consulting within the medical sectors.

Using a human-centred approach Laurie leads cross-functional teams to develop and breathe life into products that help people. Laurie brings over 20 years of hands-on practical experience in healthcare technology and a passion for design thinking.  She embraces alternative solutions and is keen to help others design and develop ground breaking new products.

Her knowledge and expertise covers the whole lifecycle and a wide range of product types and technologies, with a focus on developing cutting-edge medical devices, sports medicine and wellness systems.

She is keen to support and promote next gen engineering design innovation – encouraging, enabling and inspiring future technical professionals to develop new skills, achieve and challenge possibilities.
