Alex is a creative technologist who blends software engineering, parametric design and interactive art.
He spends as much time in the workshop as he does writing code and tinkering with electronics, building futuristic prototypes like a robotic camera you can control with your hands.
Previously he has taken a leading role on a UCL Computer Science research project related to touchless computing, taught Masters students to code, curated his own group art exhibition and built lightshows for music events from scratch.
He is passionate about creative and project-based learning. He brings a growing interest in biology and complex systems science to his practice, recently completing his MASc at the London Interdisciplinary School where he looked at ways to simulate self-organising behaviour in growing leaf tissue.
