He holds an MA degree in Design Products from the Royal College of Art, where he developed a strong foundation in design for manufacturing and hands-on approach to design processes. Lasse has run his London-based design and manufacturing company with his business partner for over a decade and has also worked as a freelance industrial designer and consultant on a broad range of projects from high fashion retail to large scale art installation.
His entrepreneurial experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of the product lifecycle, from concept to commercialization. At TEDI-London, Lasse is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of engineers with his emphasis on hands-on learning, real-world applications and critical thinking.
Hailing from Finland, Lasse has always had a deep-rooted connection with nature. When not in the office, you can find him flyfishing, collecting bug samples or picking berries in the wild. Lasse says his best ideas emerge by the river!
