Upskilling and retraining scholarship

About the scholarship

Recent Engineering UK statistics identified an annual shortfall of up to 59,000 engineering graduates and technicians to fill core engineering roles. We want engineering to be an accessible career choice for current workers looking to retrain and make TEDI-London a great option for people already working in engineering looking to upskill.

If you have a student loan, scholarships can either go towards the cost of your tuition fees or maintenance costs. They are awarded following an application process.

Eligibility

You’ll need to:

– Have a Home fee status

– Be a mature applicant (at least 21 years of age when commencing at TEDI-London)

– Have a minimum of 2 years employment history in any field (unless you’re studying a level 3 qualification to gain entry to higher education, such as an Access to HE course).

– Holding an offer to study at TEDI-London

– Self-funding your studies or in receipt of a student loan.

Number of scholarships available

Provide a 600-word blog on the importance of diversity in engineering. Read our blog submission guidelines to help you get started.

You will then need to send your submission via the scholarship application form which is included in your offer letter from Admissions. If you need to request a form please email admissions@tedi-london.ac.uk

Deadlines to apply

For September 2024 start: 19 April 2024

For January 2025 start: 6 December 2024

It is advisable to apply as soon as possible as demand for these scholarships is high. If you are an offer holder and want to request a scholarship application form please email admissions@tedi-london.ac.uk

Things to note

Students may only be in receipt of one TEDI-London scholarship at any time during their studies.
