Michelle has 25 years experience across the full remit of Human Resources. She is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, gained across a variety of commercial and public sector organisations including Police, Fire & Rescue Services, Higher Education, Regulation and Services.
Michelle has a Masters degree (distinction) in Employment Law and Employee Relations from University of Leicester, Level 7 in Organisation Development and Design, in addition to Postgraduate Diplomas in Human Resources Management, Management, Performance and Change Management and Marketing.
She has developed effective 3 and 5 year People strategies, introduced HR business partnering models and employee engagement strategies – increasing engagement levels by 20% – and lead large culture and organisational change programmes. These have encompassed leadership and management development, reward and recognition, learning & development and values / ways of working, all underpinned by diversity and inclusion.
Michelle is a film buff and has three sporty teenage children. In her spare time she is a co-opted governor of a primary school.
