CELEBRATING OUR FIRST NATIONAL STUDENT SURVEY (NSS 2025)

TEDI-London is proud to report outstanding results from our first participation in the 2025 National Student Survey (NSS). Our institution outperformed the England sector benchmark across multiple categories, demonstrating the success of our vision to transform engineering education.

The NSS gathered anonymous feedback from non-final-year undergraduate students across the UK between January and April 2025. TEDI-London achieved a response rate exceeding 70%, reflecting a strong level of student engagement.

Headline results

• Teaching Quality: 95% satisfaction (vs benchmark 83.3%).
• Learning Opportunities: 98.4% satisfaction (vs 82.9%).
• Academic Support: 100% satisfaction (vs 85.3%).
• Learning Resources: 92.7% satisfaction (vs 85.2%).
• Student Voice: 93.3% satisfaction (vs 73.4%).

Additionally, several individual results indicate sector-leading performance in key areas related to the student experience.
Notably, students expressed complete satisfaction with:

• Teaching staff’s ability to explain concepts: 100% satisfaction (vs 87.1%).
• The opportunities to explore ideas and concepts in depth: 100% satisfaction (vs 81.7%).
• The knowledge and skills gained through their course, viewing them as relevant to their future: 100% satisfaction (vs 84.8%).
• The quality of assessments in demonstrating their learning: 100% satisfaction (vs 81.7%).
• The ease of contacting teaching staff when needed: 100% satisfaction (vs 87%).
• The support provided by teaching staff throughout the learning journey: 100% satisfaction (vs 84.3%).
• The quality of IT resources and facilities: 100% satisfaction (vs 84.3%).
• The opportunity to give feedback on their course: 100% satisfaction (vs 84.1%).
• The freedom to express their ideas, opinions, and beliefs: 100% satisfaction (vs 87.2%).

Reflecting on these remarkable results, Professor Lisa Brodie, Executive Dean at TEDI-London, commented: “What a phenomenal debut!
